I hatch chicks every month from March to July and raise them until they are 4 weeks old.  This ensures you get what you want ie. pullets!  It also saves you the hassle of raising the little ones yourself.

I also raise chickens to sell in the Spring.  These come in mini flocks that are already laying or just about to.  This gives you the joy of having producing chickens from the get go and you can skip all those months of labor with no reward.

Everyone I hatch out is a backyard mix.  I started with a variety of different breeds but after 6 years of mixing and adding new birds any eggs that hatch are backyard mixes.

Chicks 4 week old pullets  $6 each

Laying (or close to it) hens  $15 each 

Laying flocks of 6 or more 10% off total

Roosters are free

While I use my rabbits as meat and treats I also sell them as pets.  Rabbits are quite, clean, and very calm.  Perfect for younger people and as beginner pets.  They can be litter trained like cats and can form strong bonds with their people.

I have a variety of colors and patterns and each one is cute and cuddly!
